We notched up a few firsts including feeding monkeys far away from any zoo (i.e. almost in the wild) and watching vultures being fed. We saw dolphins alongside a boat we were travelling in, on the Gambia River. We also found bats that had a cry in the audible range (i.e. not echo location but genuinely calling to each other).
