(very little in evidence, though we did come across some missionary jam makers) and animists, the old religion. The animists (officially anyway) are the smallest group but we were taken to see a local doctor (i.e. witch doctor) who whilst he was undoubtedly a Moslem was clearly part of a long standing faith and herbal medicine tradition.
