It may be true but on the last day we were there we saw a couple of small military parades. It's a beautiful, dirt poor country, desperate to become a tourist trap. Right now everyone smiles and appears to be happy. If they get their wish I think it will wipe the smile off their faces. Katy cried when we had to leave.
