| Edinburgh: Loads of luvvies, but strangely no audience. Some of the shops have even closed for a holiday break during the festival. What happened to the people?
The ticket prices were very eccentric. In one show I paid £10 but two people I spoke to got their tickets for free. In another I paid £14, turned up ten minutes late and they wouldn't let me in. I think they had over sold. No refund, just tough. I did get in to some shows for free though and on the whole my main grouse was not the ticket prices but that the shows didn't really work for me. Maybe I'm too old and too miserable... |
