This popped up on my Fb memories page on December 30, 2023. I didn't know it at the time but this was clearly hacking. By 2011 I had experienced several years of computer hacking but at the time I didn't realise this was the 'intelligence' services, and even if I had I didn't know the 'intelligence' services would do a thing like this. Now (in 2023) I know better.
I use BBC iplayer desktop to download tv programmes and watch them later. This is useful partly because I have Virgin Broadband connection which is very poor and sometimes unusable between 6pm and midnight. I could watch tv using the download device even when the Broadband stopped working. But for about the last month iplayer desktop has stopped working. Does anybody have any ideas why or what I could do? I 've sent messages to the BBC (via the approved web site method) but they won't reply.
