Drove back from Manchester after doing a hard day's work. The M1 (in particular) was a disaster area. One service station we went into was in such a bad state with the main exit closed, that I had to weave around it to find any way to escape. Ignorant people who don't understand economics say the debt we are building up now will be a burden to our grandchildren. That's bollox. But the mess that is being created by public sector cuts and the maladministration of massive (and usually unwarranted) so called reforms will haunt us for generations.
