The police are to open an investigation into William Ewart Gladstone, whom it is claimed visited places known to be the haunts of very young women who had fallen on hard times.
It is alleged that there were numerous reports of Gladstone consorting with young prostitutes but his status as a celebrity mine owner and politician prevented them joining up the dots.
There are also allegations that Lloyd George indulged in multiple sexual impropriety but only escaped the long arm of the law because he knew the father of a senior police officer. |
