It's been an interesting day. When I went to the bank there was a young guy coming out with a fat wadge of twenty pound notes in a roll he was stuffing into his sock.
The Eastern European courier who startled me the other day by seeming to ask 'can I live here' when what she meant was 'can I leave here' (a parcel for next door), returned with some running shoes I'm going to wear tomorrow. And I got a new Sheryl Crow cd, well new to me anyway. I expected it to be rubbish but it's actually pretty damn good. It's been a good day for crows. And you could see millions of stars in the sky tonight in Chatham, Medway. That's never possible in London.. |
