Katy Andrews has died. Roland RanceThat is so sad. Although I had not seen her for some months, Katy was a constant presence in my life. Indeed, it is because she and Inbar had been friends in Jerusalem (where they organised world's the first demonstration in support of Mordechai Vanunu) that we ended up in Walthamstow when we returned to London 25 years ago. Like many others, I will very much miss Katy. Imparta Mari It is so sad. I have know Katy since 1986 when she joined my Anarchist cell in the Hebrew University. I visited Britain in the following summer and stayed with her and took me to see Peggy Seeger and Ewan McColl. When I arrived here in 1989 she again opened her house for me and Roland until we found a permament place.
