Echoes of an old drummer		When I was a teenager I met and befriended an old guy (probably younger than I am now) who played the Tabla, an instrument he said required a lengthy apprenticeship to learn. He called himself Rumi and was convinced that I was an old man in a young man's body (well it was a young body then). He felt I had been reincarnated. Today I learn (for the first time) that Rumi was the name of an ancient sufi mystic. How strange and how many years is it since I thought of Rumi?
