Apparently the X Factor team paid a visit to one of the local women's Morris groups tonight, claiming variously to be from Thames TV and ITV, but mysteriously having no business cards when asked to demonstrate their bona fides.
The business of these people is the humiliation of contestants, just as much as it is finding the odd pearl in the dirt. The X factor is not an in house ITV programme. There should be a law that all X factor contestants should be offered psychological profiling to establish the fact that they can cope with the humiliation they deal out. Failing that someone should sue them for every penny they have got for the psychological damage they cause. |
