When I speak to Tories they always tell me how strong the party organisation is at constituency level, despite the fact that they only have a tiny fraction of the membership Labour has.

This advert from the Tory web site, seems to suggest things are not as healthy as they claim.

This job is simply what Labour Party organisations do as a matter of course, without professional help (especially if there is no Labour MP in the constituency).

The fact that they need to pay suggests they can not get the activists to work for them and that the Tory party is, in fact, a busted flush and just a shell of an organisation run by the professional politicians based at Westminster.

PS I wonder how they are going to account for this when it comes to filing their expenses at the next election.
