Apple admits hackers

So Apple fesses up to what has been obvious for at least a decade: all its devices are hackable, if you know how.

So much for its legal case attempting to prevent the American police from entering the phone of a dead terrorist. Pure hookum.

OK I get it. The evil chip makers were at fault. But (and it's a big but) how come you can not rely on the Apple firewall to prevent anyone getting into these devices and hacking them?

Every iPhone, iPad and Mac device could be at risk of being hacked.

Apple has confirmed that almost all of its devices are affected by Intel and Arm chip 'design flaws' that could expose billions of people's personal data to cyber criminals.

The flaws leave the devices open to the devastating 'Meltdown' and 'Spectre' bugs, discovered by security researchers.
