I've just looked through my Facebook friends. I do, at least know some but by no means all of them. About half a dozen are dead. My guess is that the proportion of dead people will increase as time goes by. It would be interesting to work out the proportion of dead friends you have and correlate that with your own chances of mortality, or is The Last Night of the Proms making me maudlin.
