How to save the economy | ||
It seems to me that if the government really wants to achieve herd immunity the way to do it is to have a differential lockdown.
Instead of 'saving' the NHS by locking down people under the age of 40, hardly any of whom would actually end up in hospital if they caught the virus, they could simply lockdown the older members of the community and those who live in households with an older person. This would dramatically bring forward the 'herd immunity' point and save what is left of the economy. | ||
