| Penguins on Venus | ||
| So there are penguins on Venus. As unlikely as this seems, given that the surface temperature is hotter than a frying pan, scientists have discovered phosphine in the atmosphere and quite a lot of it, orders of magnitude more than on Earth.
There is no known non-organic source for phosphine. Local (ie terrestrial) sources for phosphine include penguin guano and badly run meths labs. https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-54133538 | ||
