Labour on the march
So Sir Kier Starmer has decided to go all French on us, launching what could be a series of town hall meetings in the shadow of Britain's version of the Eiffel Tower in Blackpool.

These town hall style meetings were one of the things that allowed Emmanuel Macron and his new political party, En Marche, to defeat the Yellow Vest protests (at least for now).

But the British version of Yellow Vests (either common working class people, the salt of the Earth or racist trouble makers, depending on who you believe) were not allowed to join the carefully vetted audience at Blackpool. Sir Kier knows his target groups.

Expect, a re-branding and re-naming of Labour to something like the People's Movement. It would be particularly apposite if it happened in March.
