Running
The first Parkrun after the various lockdowns. The official time according to the Parkrun email was: "Great Lines parkrun, Medway results for event #329. Your time was 00:36:06." According to Strava the result was radically different. Strava says I took an extra minute and a half. It would be easy to account for this by saying I failed to stop Strava. It is hard to stop Strava on my phone and the system has a tendency to leap back into life if you are not careful. But I am careful and look at the splits! As usually happens at Parkrun my last kilometre is my quickest. Take a further one minute 27 seconds off the time for that split and I am running a kilometre in about five minutes, which, to say the least, is implausible. Clearly this is just another example of state sponsored hacking. This is where your taxes go: screwing up my Parkrun times.

Jonathan Brind asked a question. July 19 at 3:28 PM: I run a short distance quite often. Strava creates two splits; out and back. Today both were about 6:30 yet the entire run came out at 6:52. How is this possible?
