I have long been arguing that it is a waste of time to have anti virus software in Linux, and even saying it doesn't exist. But it does.
I installed a package called Clamscan, designed for Linux. Every time I run it my system jams up and dies. You may regard that as a bad thing. I see it as the first chink in MI5's armour I have ever come across. Clamscan has been around for a while. Even the instructions I used to install it were two years old. Clearly it works but it is either being sabotaged or is finding something really nasty. | ||
