Return of the Keystone Cops
Well they have been back. There's a deep gouge out of the service road caused by the chasis being dragged. Clearly they didn't bother to repair the wheels. My guess is that the wheels would have worked if the tyres were repaired. A local garage would have done the job for a few quid.
It's quite difficult to reverse a vehicle with non functioning wheels so they seem to have managed to knock down the fence of one of the allotments. I don't suppose they did it on purpose. This allotment is managed by a young bloke who does odd jobs and his wife. No doubt he would fix the fence for a few quid, if they contact him. But the real question is if they were prepared to move the chasis as a whole, why didn't they move the whole caravan in the same way? They could have made a few bob out of it and the national coffers could have benefited.
