There is a game that people play, determining whether a polar bear (perhaps) would emerge victorious in a battle with a tiger. Variations are endless since you can imagine the entire animal kingdom in conflict. If you happen to be playing this game and draw peacock and domestic cat, then I can tell you the answer. The peafowl will see off the cat every time. In fact peafowl don't seem unduly bothered by cats and are much more concerned about collared doves who compete for food.
