Starmer must bring secret police to heel, to save himself
It is very old news that MI5 and MI6 squabble. In fact I often wonder if it is just more of the disinformation campaign run by Britain's secret police agencies (they are certainly not intelligence agencies in any meaningful sense).

But a story in Computer Weekly reveals a great deal more than that. 1) the head of MI6 had his.emails hacked probably by the Russians! Just let that sink in. The head of MI6 has his emails hacked by the Russians!

2) MI6 was supporting an extreme right wing (and maverick) American president against MI5.

3) There appeared to be no compunction about naming British agents working in the field.

If that lot doesn't persuade Starmer to get rid of the whole lot of them then he deserves the inevitable palace coup that these people are bound to instigate when he becomes PM.

MI6 chief’s hacked emails attacked MI5 and betrayed British spy operations in China

Former UK spy boss Richard Dearlove leaked names of MI6 secret agent recruiters in China to back an aggressive right-wing US campaign against tech company Huawei. His emails were hacked and then leaked – probably by Russian intelligence
