Another frustrating morning. Locked out of my two Chromebooks because they reckon my password is no good. Went to my Mac and the Google password works fine. Even managed to get one of the Chromebooks to accept the password in guest mode. But nothing doing when it comes to actually opening the Chromebook. Still locked out. The only machine I can use to get my WhatsApp messages is one of the Chromebooks. I use WhatsApp for things like talking to the various builders who have worked on my house. Strangely most of my real friends don't use it. But I value WhatsApp. I know that in theory you can put it on a Mac. I even have it on my Mac. But to activate it you have to use an existing WhatsApp identity. So I have been banging my head against a brick wall. I know it's really not important and will resolve itself without me doing anything. There isn't anything I can do. But it is torture: cruel and unusual punishment. And if at some stage I have done something illegal why have I never been charged with any offence?
