May 4, 2023	INDEX	Dr John Christy, Professor of Atmospheric Science and Director of the Earth System Science Center at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, has spent a life time creating better, more accurate and more comprehensive climate data sets. Using these, Professor Christy, with NASA scientist Roy Spencer, showed the latest models for the atmosphere suggest warming about twice as fast as reality. He argues that carbon is a vital means to enable the under developed world to achieve the life chances available in rich countries. Professor Christy receives no funding from the fossil fuel industry.
