Hackers block me changing my website

A year ago I posted on Facebook an account of how hackers had got into my computer running Ubuntu Linux and stopped me from working.

Like most of these things it was perfectly deniable (he's paranoid, he doesn't know how to use computers). Except the picture which showed exactly what had happened was not deniable.

Facebook threw up the picture in its memory section so I decided to post it on my blog. Except I couldn't, or I couldn't do it the normal way.
The hackers, yes I'm still being hacked, found a way to stop the picture from displaying. I tried all sorts of thing (changing it to various different formats) but nothing worked. Until I sidestepped the problem putting the picture into the same directory as the html file.

Then it worked. To confirm it should always have worked I created a shadow html page and linked that to the directory where I normally place photos. I used my ftp software to identify and record the picture location.

This was belt braces and a second pair of braces, but it didn't work. Hacked!
