The path away from Whicham St Marys. The Western Lakes Pilgrim Way says you turn in front of the white house. In fact this way is barred. You go straight on. Then I found the lower path was ok but it has been dry recently. Follow the pathe alongside the wall and then next to the main road. Continue until you see the church, even though at times the path is almost completely overgrown.
