Caught the Art on the Rocks or the Sculptures on the Sea Walk, if you are posh, along the Bondi to Tamarama Coastal Walk. And if you can't say Tama... don't worry, neither can I.

This is an annual event and whoever it is who is behind it really pushes the boat out, which is an odd metaphor since it is mostly along a cliff top path where pushing the boat out would lead to terrible results. But there you go.

My first photo was taken on the ferry, an unusual way to go to Bondi since there is no direct connection. But I discovered that if you go on the Watsons Bay ferry a short and rather nice bus ride takes you to the beach.

On the ferry I spotted this kind lady doing impressions of the famous scene from Titanic, the one where they stand on the front of the boat. And yes I did ask permission to photograph her.

What can I say about the art? A lot really, but you wouldn't want to hear it. The large tin can is a rather sad indictment of homelessness. Oddly it's just about big enough for a homeless person to crawl into.

The red man with a disco ball on his head was probably the most photographed. Groups constantly stood round it and snapped away, if you can snap with a phone.

Above us some celestial sign writer was creating an incomprehensible message. They do it a lot over here and I never understand what they are saying.

Maybe it's like the sixties a time when "adults" would often ask the teenagers how with all the boys wearing long hair it was possible to tell the difference between the genders.

The answer, of course, was that it was on a need to know basis.
