Leaving Yellowstone?
Some while back a volcanologist was strung up and murdered for either failing to predict a volcano, or saying one was going to happen when it didn't. Either mistake can be catastrophic for a community.

When it comes to super volcanoes the results of crying wolf (or indeed failing to mention a lupine presence) can be even greater.

It is quite interesting that a huge amount of attention is being paid to Yellowstone, the American national park. Well the Yanks describe it as a national park but really it is a super volcano, and a pretty special super volcano because in the past it has erupted every 600,000 years or so and it is now 40,000 years overdue.

So what would happen if Yellowstone erupted? Well no-one knows because it hasn't done so in the timespan when we have (supposedly) been ruling the planet. Of course just because it is 40,000 years overdue doesn't mean it's going to blow its top any minute now. It might be a thousand or even 100,000 years. But if it did blow there is little doubt that the scale of destruction would put a major dent in Trump's plan to Make America Great Again.

One of the signs alleged to show that the super volcano is awakening is that animals are supposed to be stampeding out of the park. This image from one of the search engines is meant to throw cold water on this idea, since what it shows is mainly animals that migrate, migrating.

The same could not be said about the videos on TikTok and X which clearly fall into the category of doom mongering.
