| Spending time with my mum | ||
| I have spent the last few days with my mother, who died many years ago.
In the 1990s I made a recording of her talking about her family and it turned up recently so I decided to make a video based on it. Of course it raises all sorts of questions which I am not likely to get answers to, and it means I have to act as her editor, correcting when she mis-spoke. But it is a fantastic resource and I only wish some of my relatives had made similar tapes of interviews of people who are now long gone and forgotten. At least I have my mum. |
