City Books being driven out of business

Charity shops are driving Bob Peters of Rochester based City Books out of business. He's throwing in the towel because there are simply too many of them chipping away at his trade. There used to be four of them 18 years ago when he opened his rather remarkable book, dvd and antique emporium in Rochester High Street. Now there are eight and he just can't make enough to employ people or to invest in his business. So he's calling it a day..
