It is with regret I need to inform you that we have decided that the formal User Forum format for engaging with the public will no longer form part of our activities moving forward into the future. We are however still very keen to provide opportunities for the public to better understand the work we do, give us some feedback and suggest new ideas or initiatives. We will be providing a range of opportunities for interested parties to get involved which include: *** Conservation volunteering *** Community events *** Site Management Workshops *** Site improvement projects We will also be developing a new newsletter to inform the public about things happening on the marshes and the ranger team will continue to be a key point of contact for any individual or interested groups. I would like to invite you all to the first in a series of Site Management Workshops taking place on Saturday the 14th December at the Waterworks Centre starting at 1.30pm (please see attached flyer). The next workshop which we are planning for February 2014 will begin the process of review for the Walthamstow Marshes site management plan.
