Foam on Lea   
Another day, another disaster at Lea Marshes: this time an unknown pollutant created a three metre deep layer of foam at the weir .

The foam could have contained a deadly cocktail of chemicals or maybe it was just a very large quantity of bubble bath. Nobody knew.

But whatever it was it became airborne and drifted up to a kilometre with the wind in addition to floating down the Old Lea .
