When there was a fire at Rectory Farm in early July the fire service discharged water into Turkey Brook. As a result fish were killed by the effluent. The problem was reported to the Environment Agency (0800 80 70 60). People helped remove ailing fish from the Brook and the EA pumped oxygen in to help keep the level up.
