21/Dec/2009 Cross the railway bridge and follow a path across the flood relief channel, passing quite a dramatic pylon, and you soon reach yet another bloody fence. To the left as you face north is a gargantuan paddock, fenced off for some horsey toffs. Although this looks like private land, it is, in fact, just another part of the very public Lea Marshes. Most people would think that maintaining access to huge areas of land like this would be high on the regional park authority's priority list, but they are probably too busy trying to find out how to spell their own name (it's Lea, guys, not Lee)!
