Red Bloom

	There is a red bloom on the water in some of the ditches on Walthamstow and Leyton Marshes. It doesn't appear to do any harm but it seems alien, a bit like something out of H G Wells' War of the Worlds. This picture shows the boardwalk crossing a ditch.
