Brown Lipped Snail |

This may be a Brown Lipped or Grove Snail. The empty shell was found in the Little Triangle. They appear to be quite ordinary, though in most parts of North East London Roman Snails are much more plentiful. Snails, and particularly large and exotic looking slugs, are very common on the marshes. (12/Mar/2010).
