(7/Mar/2012) Lea Valley Regional Park has part of a national cycle route (Sustrans) running through its Walthamstow and Leyton marshes. LVRPA has a history of building on Metropolitan Open Land without applying for planning permission and also managed to run a business for many years without bothering to get the relevant permission. Now it seems it is unable to keep open this unique cycle way.
