Two viewing galleries (each capable of holding 88 people, are to be erected next to this horse walker, according to a planning application. The horse walker only got planning permission in 2008 (Ref 2008/1824) so the pace of building on Lea Marsh is becoming frenetic. Epping Forest, protected by the conservators, does not seem to suffer the need to keep building on green land.(12/Jan/2010).
