Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is common in grassland. It comes in interesting colour forms. The photos below and to the right show white plants but you may also find pink versions at the same locations.

Yarrow looks like an umbel from the top, but isn't. You can see from the picture right that the flower stems branch off each other, instead of all starting at the same point. (Photo: marshWalker, North Ditch, on 6/Sept/14)
