				This painting hanging at New Hall Manor Hotel faces what is said to be a portrait of Queen Elizabeth the first. It may be Sir Walter Raleigh, it looks a bit like him. But the old sea dog would probably not appreciate the painting since he is looking distinctly green around the gills and a sailor with his experience would probably find that colouration embarrassing.
