Shares in Theo Fennell soared by more than 6 per cent today after the luxury jeweller to the stars cut its interim losses by more than half. The firm, whose bling is worn by celebs such as Elton John, Victoria Beckham, Kate Beckinsale and Naomi Campbell, said it had benefited from a cost-cutting programme as it posted a £610,083 loss for the six months to September 30, against £1.4 million last time. However, sales slipped by 8 per cent to £4.9 million as demand for its products deteriorated during the Olympics. The shares rose 0.75p, or 6.4 per cent to 12.5p.
