A GUIDED walk is being held to formally re-launch the Howden 20 (H20) leaflet.
The leaflet will mark the updating of the H20 walk, which Howden Town Council has been working on re-signing and improving as part of the Parish Paths Partnership with East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
H20 is a circular route, starting and finishing in Howden and taking the walker through Asselby, Wressle, Bubwith, Breighton, Brind and Spaldington.
The new, full colour, walk leaflet includes a comprehensive route description as well as the route marked out on an Ordnance Survey Landranger map.
The event takes place on Sunday October 23 from 10.30am, congregating in Howden Market Place at 10.15am, a coach will be taken to Bubwith from where the H20 route will start back to Howden.
Organisers are aiming to finish at about 4pm at Howden Market Place and there are plans to stop for a picnic, weather permitting, so sandwiches and stout footware are advisable.
Town mayor, Coun Mark Birtles, said: "We are delighted to have been able to update the 'Howden 20' leaflet and map and look forward to welcoming visitors and walkers, old and new, old and not so old, to explore the fascinating and historical walks starting from, and around, our equally beautiful market town."
To book a place on the coach contact Coun Helen Holloway on 01430 432370, or more details from Don Sweeting on 01430 410641.
There is a charge of £2 per adult, £1.50 under 16 and over 60, £6 per family
