Barry Lee
| This is my g grandad (Percival Brind) in the uniform of the Met police, he was born in lime house in 1880 and the medals are coronation medals issued to met officers (1902 and 1911 I think). By about 1920 Percival was station sergeant at cheapside but moved to Burtons Green near Halstead when he retired. My mother remembers him. My mother is Barbara Bessie Brind (named after Bessie Brind, who is Percival's wife in the other photo) | Barry Lee | |||||
