Also, do you have any recommendations of good websites or sources of info. I have just joined Ancestry.co.uk which seems to be very good for Census info, but a bit patchy on BMD. There are a multitude of other websites and would like to know if you have any preferences. I also plan to visit Aldbourne library soon and also the Wiltshire Records Office in Trowbridge. I have a paper clipping from I believe 1944, relating to my great, great grandmothers funeral, Eliza Brind, Aldbourne's Oldest Inhabitant aged 94, which I have been told may have come from the Marlborough Times or the Gazette & Herald. Have you done any research from these newspapers?
