CoL D J Brind Dear Lt Col Brind In accordance with your request, I have consulted the relevant register of St Peter's Harborne. Unfortunately, information recorded on marriage certificates decreases the further back you go. Therefore, this marriage does not record neither trades nor fathers' names. However, I can confirm that the date you provided from the IGI is indeed correct. The entry reads as follows: "William Brind of this parish and Elizabeth Tomason of this parish, were married by banns this Tenth day of January in the Year One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Five, by me Robert Robertson, curate."

As you will note, the spelling of Elizabeth's surname is Tomason and not Tomasin. I hope this is of assistance.
