You weren’t really supposed to bathe in this stream in the Samaria gorge. It was drinking water for the village below. One of the Germans had a go at Katy and I for putting our feet in it. But we didn’t feel so bad when we got a bit further up stream and found donkeys had been using the stream as a toilet!
