Camp site
(1/Aug/2013)
With almost indecent haste (compared to the leisurely, almost comatose pace LVRPA usually proceeds at), the much loved golf course has been consigned to history. As predicted the camp site has been extraordinarily poorly used (see photo above), but LVRPA has used the planning permission it got on 2/July/2013 from LBWF to create yet another horse paddock, privatising yet more of Lea Marshes, since the riding centre is now largely the preserve of wealthy people who can afford livery, bed and breakfast for a horse. LVRPA moved so fast that a golf marking post and platform, were left in the new paddock, see photo below.
