Three kestrels have been seen hunting at the same time, remarkble testament to the amount of prey (small rodents?), on Lea Marshes in 2012. A favourite location is the Walthamstow Outer Marsh (the bit between the railway line and the line of Black Poplars on the Parish boundary), especially the ornamental cattle enclosure.(6/Aug/2012)
