Railway Bridge   


The railway bridge across the Lea, with the sandy path in the foreground (the path was frozen at the time this photo was taken in December 2009). To the left of the picture is the start of the Diagonal Path . In February 2014 signs went up proclaiming that the fenced off land underneath the viaduct belongs to Network Rail.

Lea Marshes

Interestingly, bikes seem to be able to use the Sandy Path, even though it has no tarmac, which makes you wonder why the Sustrans has to have such an expensive surfacing. To the left of this picture there is another bloody fence.
