There is some reason to believe that the William listed above died in 1769. This is because, according to the Mormon's IGI index, he was both born and baptised on the same day, something which only usually happened to babies expected to die within hours. But if he did not die that day, he is a candidate to be the husband of Elizabeth (nee Thomason?), though he would have only been 15. This is partly because, judging by the baptism place of his youngest brother, the family moved to London some time in the early 1770s. Of course, that William got married in Staffordshire, not London. So maybe it isn't all that strong an argument. However, it is difficult to find a William Brind born in the 1760s who can not be accounted for in some other marriage. There are some, though. Henry Brind & Lucy (Hidden) had a son William in Aldbourn on 26/07/1767 and another parentless William Brind appears on the Aldbourn Parish Register on 20/8/1759. Thomas & Ann Brind of Aldbourn also had a son called William in 1754. In many ways he looks the best candidate, but three, perhaps more, William Brinds were born in the previous ten years. It is unlikely that William would be still having children in 1813 if he was born before 1749. But it is not impossible.
